If you are interested in getting more involved at the High Plain Elementary Schools there are many volunteer opportunities. You can do as little as time allows or really delve in and contribute to your child's school community.
Some programs that a person can volunteer in are ACE and ELF.
There are many committees on the PTO that you can either run or help out with one portion. See here for options.
Each year a Book Fair is held at our school and you can volunteer to help out at the Book Fair.
Some teachers need simple help with class preparation work or photocopying.
Sign up to receive the email blasts so that you can stay abreast of all that is going on at school.
Run to be on the School Improvement Council. Or just attend a School Improvement Council meeting and have your voice be heard.
Attend Town School Budget Meetings.
