What we do - classroom and teacher support

In addition to the Academic Cultural Enrichment (ACE) program and Environmental Learning for the Future (ELF), some funds raised through PTO events are used directly for classroom and teacher support.  Back to school stipends are offered, to help the teachers prepare their classrooms.  The PTO also coordinates and trains the Room Parent Volunteers each year.  Parents are requested for special events, such as helping during arrival and lunch during the beginning of the school year as well as this year’s Hawk Walk.  Each May, the PTO hosts a Teacher’s Appreciation Luncheon supported by parent donations.  Our teachers are our most valuable asset and we strive to support them in the education of our children.
